Prova drives Honda PR
Prova PR has been appointed as the first PR provider to Honda UK's network of 180 franchised and independent dealers across the UK. Prova won the ongoing brief, which includes a fully integrated campaign, following a four-way competitive pitch.
FT hires Golin for digital brief
The Financial Times has appointed Golin to a new brief related to digital advertising. Few details of the brief have been revealed, but Golin has said it will be working with the newspaper’s commercial team "with a focus on digital advertising". Jaeger appoints The Communications Store
British fashion brand Jaeger has appointed The Communications Store to handle its UK comms strategy for its womenswear, menswear and accessories collections. The brief was previously held by Exposure, and TCS' work begins this week. The agency will report to Amy Steadman, who has been promoted to PR manager at Jaeger.
Hotwire enters Dubai
London-headquartered Hotwire has entered into a co-branded partnership with Dubai agency Active (Digital. Marketing. Communications), an independent agency with which it has worked on a non-exclusive basis for the past ten years. It is the second of Hotwire's global network of affiliates to join its "exclusive co-branded partnership scheme", a Hotwire release said. The first was Amsterdam's Yellow Communications.
City Airport's PR arrivals
London City Airport has appointed Andrew Scott from the Department for Transport as PR manager and Kimberley Hayden from Barclaycard as internal comms executive. Scott arrived at the end of March and Hayden last week. Earlier this year Alexandra Varlyakova joined the airport’s public affairs team from easyJet.
Battenhall takes on mattress brief
Battenhall has been appointed as the retained PR and social media agency for Hyde & Sleep, a UK-based online mattress brand it is launching this week with a consumer and social campaign.
Menzies appoints twentysix
Birmingham-based twentysix|pr has been appointed to represent accountancy firm Menzies on a retained basis, following a three-way competitive pitch. The agency will provide long-term strategic comms support to Menzies and raise awareness of the company’s expertise in areas such as tax and wealth management.
