UK sports car maker McLaren Automotive has hired DEC PR as its comms agency in Australia and New Zealand.
The carmaker has been present in both countries since 2011, offering two lines of its high-performance vehicles.
Australian boutique DEC will drive greater awareness of the McLaren brand, working together with newly appointed creative agency The Ross Partnership on integrated comms campaigns.
These will consist of ongoing programmes including media relations, events and local activations. DEC has an extensive portfolio of clients in the luxury, lifestyle and automotive sectors.
"We’re no stranger to the McLaren brand, having helped to develop the brand in Australia over the past four years through a range of public relations and engagement activities funded locally by its retail partner Trivett Bespoke," said Michael Henderson, DEC PR CEO.
