NI football boss brings in PR
Michael O'Neill, the manager of the Northern Ireland football team, has taken on sports and entertainment agency Clifford French to provide comms and commercial consultancy as he prepares for the team's debut in the European Championships, this year held in France. O'Neill said: "As I prepare for France, my full focus is on preparing the team. As a result, I need a partner that can work seamlessly with my team to manage opportunities."
Festina time for Mason Williams
Mason Williams has been taken on by watchmaker Festina to bring the brand to the attention of UK consumers, in particular through work with the brand's new ambassador, the actor Gerard Butler, in traditional and digital media and a targeted social campaign.
Retail body hires Lynn Li as PR head
The Entertainment Retailers Association, the UK trade body that represents the interests of digital and physical retailers of video, music and games, has taken on Lynn Li as director of marketing and comms. Li has previously worked in publicist roles at Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and 20th Century Fox International Home Entertainment.
Fidante appoints Montfort
Montfort Communications has been taken on by international investment management business Fidante Partners as its PR adviser. Fidante last year acquired Dexion Capital Holdings, and is fully owned by Australian firm Challenger. Montfort will work to develop and implement an ongoing global comms programme for Fidante, supporting its European offices.
Cowes Week picks Gabrielle Shaw for PR
