Online travel search engine Kayak has appointed Edelman as the company’s PR and social media agency in Hong Kong.
An aggregator of other search sites, Kayak helps users in 30 countries find hotels, flights, car rentals and holiday packages.
Following a competitive pitch, Edelman is charged with leading PR and social media strategy for Kayak in Hong Kong.
The agency will be responsible for putting together brand-building campaigns and producing engaging digital content for Kayak customers.
"The brand’s personality is rooted in what it’s like to ‘have a beer with a friend’ – honest, entertaining, a little bit cheeky but also very helpful, which means we can have fun with the creative executions," said Adrian Warr, senior director at Edelman Hong Kong.
