H+K China wins CES Asia account

Agency will provide comms support to consumer electronics festival in mainland China.

The US Consumer Technology Association (CTA) and Index Shanghai have appointed Hill+Knowlton Strategies China as mainland PR and comms lead for consumer technology event CES Asia.

One of the largest consumer technology conferences in the region, CES Asia showcases the latest products and innovations from the world’s largest brands. It takes place in Shanghai from May 11 to 13.

CES Asia is owned and produced by the CTA, in partnership with trade show operator Index Shanghai.

H+K will be in charge of all strategic communications services to CES Asia for mainland China, boosting awareness across industry executives, foreign buyers, media and consumers.

Ye Yu, Hill+Knowlton executive vice president for APAC and China chairman, said: "Asia is a fast growing consumer market and it has great appeal to manufacturers, retailers, distributors and all other sectors that are seeking to grow their global business.
