Beam Suntory appoints LDR Creative

American spirits company Beam Suntory has appointed LDR Creative to manage comms for its Global Travel Retail brand portfolio, following a four-way pitch. Beam Suntory's brands include whisky, tequila, vodka, cognac, rum and cordials. LDR Creative will lead global and regional campaigns from its London office.

Innis & Gunn hands Manifest brief

Edinburgh-based craft brewer Innis & Gunn has appointed Manifest as its global comms agency, following a competitive pitch. Starting this month, the agency has developed a brand strategy and comms plan to be delivered across the company’s key markets: US, Sweden, Canada and the UK. Manifest will be creating a suite of toolkits, suitable to support the brewer’s international expansion.

VSC launches financial PR offering

Victoria Sheridan Consulting has launched a financial PR offering following its appointment by Harwood Wealth, to manage all comms for the company IPO earlier this month. VSC has appointed Caroline Villiers, an industry specialist with more than 15 years’ experience in IPO, M&A and corporate restructuring comms, to expand the consultancy's financial division over the next 12 months.

Colorado Tourism appoints Black Diamond

Black Diamond has been appointed by Colorado Tourism Office as its PR agency in the UK and Ireland, replacing Cellet, which held the account for 18 years. Click to read the full story.

HAUD calls in Tangerine

HAUD, a provider of security and revenue assurance for the telecoms industry, has hired Tangerine to increase brand awareness and engage key influencers as part of a global brief. HAUD creates mobile network firewalls to protect mobile operators against fraud. Tangerine will deliver a comms strategy to position HAUD within the technology and telecoms sectors as the leader on mobile security.

Brown Betty wins Zagg

Brown Betty PR has been taken on by tech company Zagg to manage its UK PR efforts for 2016. The agency will focus on Zagg’s portfolio of portable tech, including its audio, visual and peripheral catalogue, as part of a remit previously held by Edelman.
