Cohn & Wolfe hires Diffusion's Tom Malcolm to head UK consumer business

Cohn & Wolfe has appointed Diffusion head of consumer Tom Malcolm to head its UK consumer business.

Malcolm replaces Rebecca Grant as MD of consumer marketing for the UK, following Grant’s promotion to UK managing director in February. He will report to both Grant and Scott Wilson, UK CEO and managing director, EMEA.

At Diffusion, Malcolm oversaw the agency’s UK consumer, travel and leisure portfolio, working for clients including Air New Zealand, Secret Escapes, Dixons Carphone and Mothercare, and developing new product streams.

Grant said: "Tom arrives at a time when our consumer business is thriving, with revenue tripling over the past four years thanks to the quality of work we have delivered for a range of globally recognised brands."

In 2011, Malcolm was included in PRWeek UK’s 29 Under 29 list, which recognises young talent in the industry.
