LOS ANGELES: Joy Fehily and Michael Donkis, the founders of entertainment publicity firm Prime, have joined PMK-BNC in EVP roles, establishing an entertainment strategy and development unit at the firm.

Leading the division, they will report to co-chairman and CEO Cindi Berger.

The duo launched Prime in 2009 after Fehily spent nine years at PMK and Donkis’ eight-year career at Endeavor. Fehily has also worked as a publicist at Castle Rock Entertainment. Donkis has worked at The Washington Post, as well.

Prime staffers Rachael Reiss, Maria Herrera, Rebecca Taylor, Cassandra Vargas, and Caitlyn Scott, as well as their administrative teams, are also joining PMK-BNC. The deal has pushed the firm’s staff size to more than 320 in four divisions -- entertainment, brands, strategic insights and analytics and digital – with offices in Los Angeles, New York, and London.

Prime’s clients included Seth MacFarlane, Aaron Sorkin, Robert Downey Jr., and Olivia Wilde. PMK-BNC’s client list includes Sandra Bullock, Cameron Diaz, Lena Dunham, Selena Gomez, and Matthew McConaughey.

In 2014, PMK-BNC reported 13% organic growth compared to the year prior.
