PRWeek, in association with Bloom, Gross & Associates, has published the results of its 2016 Salary Survey. Despite finding a more confident industry in general, a notable gap in compensation still exists between genders. PRWeek managing editor Gideon Fidelzeid explores the key findings from the survey and what it says about today’s PR industry.

Global PR revenues taken in by Edelman jumped from $812.3 in 2014 to $854.6 million in 2015, representing growth of 7.2%. In the US, revenues grew 7.1%; In Europe, 6.3%; Asia-Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East, 11.9%; and Latin America, 9.6%. Canada was down 6%.
