Ogilvy PR hires London content head
Ogilvy PR has hired Chris Wall as head of content in London. Wall joins from Edelman UK where he has spent the past 18 months setting up the in-house creative studio of designers, motion graphics, cinema 4D specialists and strategists. He has also worked at digital agency Sapient Nitro and Isobar.
Golin launches Unternship
Golin has launched its Unternship programme in the UK after last year's US launch. The programme aims to combat the predominence of middle class and more privileged entrants into the PR sector, and offers candidates two months' pay and travel during which they can embark on a creative adventure, after which they will work a three-month paid internship.
Alfred gets Freestyle Football work
The Freestyle Football Federation, the world governing body for the sport of Freestyle Football, has appointed integrated agency Alfred after a three-way competitive pitch. The agency has been briefed to grow awareness of the sport in the UK, and build commercial interest in Freestyle Football.
Hired hires Harvard
Online freelancing and talent platform Hired has chosen Chime-owned agency Harvard for its UK PR after a competitive pitch. The brief covers data-led story development, content creation, media relations and social media activity. Hired launched in the UK in 2014, its first market outside the US.
Mattessons appoints Frank PR
Mattessons, the UK-based food manufacturer owned by Kerry Foods, has appointed Frank to promote its new 'Snackarchist' advertising campaign through digital and consumer PR. The new campaign aims to change people's snacking habits. Frank will also create an influencer engagement programme on behalf of the brand.
Banking software house chooses MWW for UK drive
Auriga, a European supplier of software and solutions for the banking industry and payments systems, has appointed MWW to support its PR drive and growth in the UK. Simon Gentry will lead the account.
