Lesson time: Merriam-Webster schools Trump after tweet typos

The Donald obviously didn't learn to spell at Trump University.

Merriam-Webster gave Donald Trump a spelling lesson on Friday morning after the Republican frontrunner posted a series of mistake-ridden tweets targeting rival Marco Rubio.

After Thursday night’s Republican debate in which Rubio caught Trump off-guard with a series of verbal attacks, Trump mocked the Florida senator as a "chocker" and a "leightweight" – which is when the dictionary brand decided to step in.

Trump deleted the mistake-ridden tweets and replaced them, but not before Rubio made them the object of jokes at a Friday campaign stop.
