Pulse Communications hires new director

Christopher Kinsey brings two decades' PR and comms experience in Europe to new role in Australia

Australian PR agency Pulse Communications has hired Christopher Kinsey as director.

Kinsey joins the firm, which is part of Ogilvy PR Australia, with more than 20 years’ experience in the industry.

He was most recently head of PR and social at Banana Republic in Europe, where he was in charge of external comms, media relations and devising PR strategies across various channels.

Before that, Kinsey was divisional director of brand communications at Weber Shandwick Belgium. He has worked with several global brands, including General Motors, Max Factor, MasterCard, DeBeers and Jaguar Land Rover.

At Pulse, Kinsey will handle several key accounts, such as Ford, UBank, Australian Eggs Corporation and Activision.

Richard Brett, Pulse managing director, said: "Christopher brings a wealth of experience from working on a plethora of world famous brands across a number of international markets.

"2015 was another record year for Pulse and with Christopher joining the senior leadership team we believe that we are in the best position to continue the trend in 2016."
