Midland Heart housing group issues PR and public affairs briefs

A Birmingham housing, care and support business is calling on agencies to bid for a three-part PR and public affairs contract.

According to its website, Midland Heart provides 33,000 high quality affordable homes to more than 70,000 customers, across 55 local authority areas.

The three-year contract will begin in June 2016 and consists of three lots.

The first lot covers "ad-hoc PR, editorial writing and research projects" while the second lot involves PR campaigns, events management and crisis comms. At least two agencies will be selected for both briefs – lot one will pay £4,000 a year and lot two will pay £6,000 a year.

The third lot is a public affairs brief, for which a single agency will be appointed, and paid £10,000 a year.

Agencies can bid for all three lots. The deadline for submissions is 4 March, according to the tender documentation posted on the Government's Contracts Finder website.

"The most economically advantageous tender will win each lot," according to the tender document.
