Those leaving are Katie Stanton, VP global media; Kevin Weil, head of product; Skip Schipper, head of HR and Alex Roetter, head of engineering.
It follows the departure at the end of last year of Rachel Bremer, Twitter's international comms director. Bremer, who joined from an agency role in 2011, has joined fashion retailer Asos as global comms director, according to her LinkedIn profile.
The news of the more recent departures was confirmed on Twitter yesterday by chief executive and co-founder Jack Dorsey. He said the four would "be taking some well-deserved time off", in this statement attached to a tweet as an image:

Twitter COO Adam Bain will oversee the media and HR teams on an interim basis.
Stanton had been at Twitter for more than five years, leading the global media team.
At the time Dorsey said he would make changes including laying-off 8 per cent of the company's workforce.
