Australian tech specialist Bench PR today announced it has won the comms accounts for startups Sidekicker and PlanDo.

PlanDo is a career management platform that has so far raised A$900,000 and has big brands including Ricoh Australia and Illawarra Credit Union.

Anne Moore, CEO of PlanDo said the company selected Bench PR because of its experience with startups and the tech industry.

"We’ve got big plans for 2016 and have been impressed by what they’ve achieved so far for us," she said.

On-demand staffing platform Sidekicker has raised more than A$2 million and counts Uber, Airbnb and Sofitel as clients.

Thomas Amos, CEO at Sidekicker said: "I first met Jocelyn three years ago when we were just two people with an idea and her advice and ideas were greatly appreciated.

"We now operate all across Australia and New Zealand and I am very pleased to be working with the Bench team to tell our story."

Jocelyn Hunter, managing director of Bench PR, said: "We’re thrilled to be working with both PlanDo and Sidekicker, two Aussie startups disrupting their respective markets with rapid success and big plans for growth.

"We’re looking forward to helping these companies achieve their business goals this year, whilst having some fun at the same time."
