The finalists in each category are:
Large agency (100+ employees): Brands2Life, Cohn & Wolfe, Lansons.
Medium agency (30 to 99 employees): Citypress, APCO, Hope & Glory.
Small agency (two to 29 employees): GCI Health, Interel UK, O Communications.
In-house (corporate teams): Change.org, Costa Coffee, Transport for London.
Each finalist will now face a panel interview to decide who will win the gold, silver and bronze awards for their categories. The final results will be announced in late February.
There was a marked increase in entries this year, reflecting the growing importance of the awards as PR agencies and in-house departments strive to attract the best talent.
Given the importance of gender issues in the PR industry – including the gender pay gap and parental leave - this year the judging panel includes Rowan Davies, head of policy and campaigns at Mumsnet. Also on the panel are PRCA director general Francis Ingham and PRWeek UK editor-in-chief Danny Rogers.
