Ketchum veteran Kathy Jeavons joins Story Partners

Jeavons previously had two stints at Ketchum and served in President George HW Bush's administration.

WASHINGTON: Kathy Jeavons, formerly a partner and corporate and public affairs practice director at Ketchum, has joined Story Partners as SVP of public affairs.

She stepped into the new position this month. Jeavons is focused on providing a senior strategic leadership role for Story Partners’ clients as part of the agency’s leadership team.

Noting that Washington is about to embark on its "silly season" as the 2016 presidential election picks up speed, Jeavons said an important part of public affairs is "helping clients figure out how to navigate the connection between government, business, and consumers."

Jeavons has worked both in the public and agency sectors during her 25-year career. Until last fall, she was partner and associate director at Ketchum Washington and previously was an MD at Public Strategies. Jeavons had an earlier stint at Ketchum as VP and group manager and previously worked at Dix & Eaton and as an associate director in the White House office of public liaison during President George HW Bush’s administration.
