Fulford PR & Brand Rapport merge to create Roco Communications

Agency will provide comms, sponsorship and experiential marketing services across APAC

Singapore PR agency Fulford PR and Hong Kong-based comms and brand activation firm Brand Rapport today announced their merger into Roco Communications.

The agency is under new management and ownership, with both Fulford PR Singapore and Brand Rapport in Hong Kong having previously been part of the wider Brand Rapport group headquartered in London.

Roco Communications will continue to focus on the sectors it made its name in: sports, entertainment and consumer lifestyle.

The firm’s clients include the HSBC Women’s Champions golf tournament in Singapore, Qantas, PARKROYAL on Pickering, Pernod Ricard and Great Eastern Life.

"We’re very excited to launch Roco Communications and provide clients with a range of integrated marketing communications services," said Ross Collett, managing director of Roco Communications.

"Our approach to communications will continue to be content-led, but rather than focusing solely on traditional or digital communication channels, we see sponsorship and brand activation driven content playing an increasingly important role for brands. This is a space we know well, and is where we can bring real value to brands and rights-holders."

Roco also announced the arrival of Eric Chiu as regional client services director last July, who joined from brand experience agency Jack Morton in Shanghai.
