KINC worked with media and content agency Viral Media House to produce the film, which was launched on Dunlop’s social media and YouTube channels last month, and received more than 70,000 views in the first 24 hours. The film has now been viewed more than 210,000 times on YouTube.
The video was filmed on the Holy Island causeway in the North East of England, where more than 100 cars have been lost to the tide on the road.
The film shows World Champion Monster Energy wakeboarder Nick Davies being towed behind a car fitted with the new tyres, and driven by current British Touring Car Championship rookie of the year, Josh Cook.
Tony Ward, Dunlop marketing manager, said: "The challenge was designed to show that even in the most extreme of wet conditions the tyre provides excellent grip, good enough to pull a wakeboarder."
