The International Communications Consultancy Organisation represents more than 2,500 PR firms through 33 national trade associations worldwide, including the UK's PRCA, which itself partnered with PRWeek last year.
The two organisations will work together on cross-promotion of key global events as well as joint content and commercial initiatives. This will include collaboration on the ICCO World PR Report, ICCO becoming a partner of PRWeek’s Global Power Book, a series of global roundtables and content products for the ICCO membership.
PRWeek, which has offices in London, New York and Singapore, will offer ICCO members discounted attendance at its events and preferential subscription packages. The ICCO website will host a careers portal powered by PRWeek Jobs.
Julia Hood, global brand director of PRWeek, said: "We are proud to partner with ICCO on projects that underscore the power and growth of this important market."
Francis Ingham, who is both ICCO chief executive and director general of the PRCA, said: "I’m very pleased to be announcing this strategic partnership between ICCO and the leading global brand for PR insight, PRWeek. With a busy schedule of activities ahead of us, this promises to be a very fruitful relationship, and something that is sure to benefit the global PR industry."
