Pamplona Capital Partners teams up with ReviveHealth

The agency will support Pamplona's six healthcare portfolio companies.

NASHVILLE, TN: Pamplona Capital Partners IV LP has named ReviveHealth as its strategic marketing communications AOR.

The firm will support Pamplona Capital Management’s $4 billion, healthcare-focused private equity fund. Pamplona made public its $2.7 billion acquisition of MedAssets, a healthcare performance-improvement company, about a month ago.

Pamplona considered five agencies before moving forward with Nashville, Tennessee-based ReviveHealth due to factors such as its experience in the healthcare space. The agency "covered the full range of communications needs," said Dr. Jeremy Gelber, partner at Pamplona Capital Management.

He added that ReviveHealth will support the company’s six healthcare portfolio companies, though that number is likely to grow.

"We wanted one partner who understood us, understood the goals that we were trying to achieve, understood us as people, and could have that stretch across every single one of our companies," Gelber said.

However, its different healthcare assets have distinct communications requirements, he added. For example, some companies need to get on the radar of stakeholders, while others need rebranding support, said Gelber.

Much of the work on behalf of Pamplona will be based in the firm’s Nashville office, but staffers in Minneapolis and Santa Barbara, California, will chip in as well, said ReviveHealth CEO Brandon Edwards. Financial details were not disclosed.
