The PR Week 11.20.2015: Agencies mourn after Paris attacks; How Charlie Sheen revealed his HIV status

The PRWeek team discusses the week's top PR- and communications-related news.

Last Friday's terror attacks in Paris left more than 120 people dead and hundreds more wounded. This week Paris-based PR agencies took time to mourn and remember several employees who were killed on Friday. The Islamic State, which has since taken responsibility for the shootings and bombings, has a history of using social media and other digital communications networks for planning similar attacks as well as radicalizing disenfranchised youth, and in response to the events in Paris, hacker group Anonymous has declared a digital war to cripple the terrorist organization's online presence.

Listen to this week's podcast to hear PRWeek's global editorial director Steve Barrett, news editor Frank Washkuch, and senior reporter Diana Bradley discuss the aftermath of the Paris attacks and other stories from this week, including: REI CEO Jerry Stritzke's "ask me anything" misstep; how Charlie Sheen's publicist handled the actor's HIV announcement; Jared Fogle's sentencing on child-porn-related charges, and more.
