Revolution to steer SAS' PR on row to Rio
Software firm SAS UK has appointed Revolution Sports + Entertainment as its PR agency to implement a creative campaign to raise awareness of the firm and its long-term partnership with British Rowing. SAS' technology is being used by the Great Britain rowing team in the run-up to the 2016 Olympic Games, and Revolution will also help SAS to engage with the wider public, as well as communicating internally to more than 800 of its UK-based staff.
We Are Caffeine wins start-up ZipJet
Laundry app and website ZipJet has appointed We Are Caffeine to provide press office support following a competitive pitch. The on-demand laundry, dry cleaning and ironing service launched in London in November 2014, and has since expanded into Berlin. Lorenzo Florian Färber, co-founder of ZipJet, said he had been "looking for a young and dynamic agency with piles of energy and enthusiasm". The agency was founded in 2014 by three former Freuds account directors.
WhatClinic appoints FleishmanHillard globally
WhatClinic.com has appointed FleishmanHillard as its retained global comms agency to further support the Dublin-headquartered health tech firm's expansion into new markets. WhatClinic was founded in 2007 and provides a marketplace for patients to find, compare and book private clinics in more than 135 countries. The team will be led from FleishmanHillard's Dublin office, working to develop stories for the health, consumer, personal finance and trade press.
Fame Music appoints Zeitgeist
The Zeitgeist Agency has been called in by music social network Fame Music following a competitive pitch. Fame Music, which helps artists reach new audiences and influencers in the music industry, has previously operated in a number of territories outside the UK. Zeitgeist now handling activations in 2016 and beyond as the client moves into the UK.
Macaulay to lead H+K in Abu Dhabi
Stuart Macaulay will join Hill+Knowlton Strategies as its general manager in Abu Dhabi later this month. He moves from Weber Shandwick where he was leading its Qatar office, having previously worked for the PR firm Cognito. H+K's Middle East offices have also promoted Dubai general manager Lucy Harvey to regional director, with Lisa Walsh promoted to the Dubai general manager job.
Pegasus to lead Nouveau Lashes consumer comms
Eyelash care and treatment firm Nouveau Lashes has appointed Pegasus to lead its consumer comms in the UK following a six-way pitch. Pegasus will focus on new product development for both in-salon and at-home products and treatments. Pegasus' healthy beauty team comprises 25 of its 99-person headcount.
