Creative Skillset and D&AD launch free online brand storytelling course

D&AD and the sector skills council Creative Skillset have created a free online brand storytelling training course, launching Monday, following a £200,000 investment.

The course is one of a series of eight that has been developed for the online platform FutureLearn by non-profit D&AD, following the investment from Creative Skillset.

The course, hosted by FutureLearn, features input from prominent creatives from agencies including TBWA London, Grey London and Sunshine.

Stephen Woodford, a board member of Creative Skillset, said: "On this course you will learn from some of the best storytellers in branding and communications anywhere. Great storytelling is at the heart of effective communications."

Last month, D&AD announced that the D&AD awards – once the preserve of the advertising and design sectors – would include PR categories for the first time.
