Potato firm Greenvale requests agency for consumer and b2b brief

Potato supplier and processor Greenvale, which operates eight sites across the UK, has issued a consumer and B2B brief, PRWeek has learned.

The company, which has a turnover in excess of £200m, is in the early stages of inviting a number of agencies to pitch for the brief.

Ingenuity is understood to be handling the pitch process on behlaf of Greenvale.

Greenvale is currently working with an agency although it is not known which.
The company said the process was confidential.

The firm has recently announced support for trade body the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board with a new three-year campaign, co-financed by the EU, to encourage more people to eat potatoes. The €3.6m (£2.6m) campaign is targeted at 22- to 44-year-old women, according to the Greenvale website.
