Hong Kong’s new contemporary art fair, Art Central, has hired Sinclair Communications as its Hong Kong PR lead for the 2016 edition of the event.
The inaugural Art Central fair took place this year, and Sinclair handled all Hong Kong communications strategy around it.
The event garnered significant international interest and was a highlight of Hong Kong Art Week this year.
Following the fair’s success, Art Central has retained Sinclair for it’s next event in March 2016. The agency will lead a regional Asia PR strategy to promote awareness among art collectors, buyers and the wider public.
Kiri Sinclair, managing director of Sinclair Communications, said the firm specialises in culture and art PR.
"We were honoured to have launched the inaugural Art Central earlier this year which exceeded expectations on all fronts, and are thrilled to again be working with the dynamic Art Central team to take the fair to the next level in 2016," she said.
On top of Art Central, Sinclair Communications are working with the British Council on Event Horizon, an extensive public art project, and launching Hong Kong’s 2015 Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture to the public in December.
