Brands are taking to Twitter on Tuesday to celebrate National Sandwich Day – and not just those in food-related industries.
The sandwich is thought to have been the brainchild of John Montagu, Fourth Earl of Sandwich, in the 1700s, so he could simultaneously eat and gamble.
