UAE agency acquires rival
UAE-based comms consultancy House of Comms has acquired digital comms agency RUA Digital for an undisclosed sum, and announced that the company is to rebrand as House of Comms Integrated Communications. Launched in 2012, House of Comms represents global brands such as Virgin Atlantic Airways as well as regional clients.

Digital agency Enjoy Digital has recruited Chris Hughes, formerly commercial director for Shackleton, the PR and social media arm of Epiphany. Hughes, who has 15 years of industry experience, joins as comms director to lead the agency’s integrated approach to PR, SEO and content marketing. The Leeds agency has 35 staff.
Single Homeless Project gets new comms manager
Brittany Maher-Kirk will join the charity Single Homeless Project on 2 December as PR and comms manager. She has spent the past year as a comms manager for Target Ovarian Cancer, and before that two-and-a-half years at Diabetes UK.
