Magnetic Asia has appointed WE as the PR partner to promote its Clockenflap music and arts festival in Hong Kong next month.
Expected to attract 65,000 people this year, Clockenflap is one of Hong Kong’s leading arts and culture festivals. Performers will include The Libertines and Damien Rice among many others.
WE will coordinate the PR strategy in conjunction with the festival’s marketing and communications team, focusing on content, media relations and influencers to promote the event.
"We’re thrilled to be working with Clockenflap," said Emma Richards, vice president and general manager of WE Hong Kong. "Our role is to build on past success and continue to elevate the event as the marquee cultural festival for the broader Hong Kong community.
"The campaign will create captivating content and engage key influencers across Hong Kong. Our campaign will build widespread awareness and contribute to another record-breaking year of attendance."
Lois Wan, marketing manager at Magnetic Asia, said: "WE is appointed because of its deep understanding of the Hong Kong consumer market and business community and its proven ability to run highly creative, integrated communications campaigns for a range of the world’s top brands.
"By partnering with WE, we aim to bring Clockenflap to the next level as the iconic cultural festival of Hong Kong with wide recognition locally and regionally."
The festival will take place from 27 to 29 November.
