Founded in 2009 by Warren Johnson, W had a stellar 12 months, with growth of 46 per cent fuelled by a string of high-profile account wins involving brands such as Unilever, Google, L’Oréal and Levi’s.
The agency – which now employs 53 staff – continued to innovate this past year with the launch of W Brandlab, billed as a venture capital and incubator arm that empowers staff to think and work as investors and stakeholders. World domination is also on the cards after W opened its first overseas office, in Singapore, this summer with an eye on further openings in Asia.
