Goldman Sachs won’t use a wire service to release its next quarterly earnings report. Instead, it will rely on Twitter to drive investors, journalists, and observers to its own digital properties, where it will lay out its quarterly performance.
Goldman cited recent hackings of wire services, as well as the company wanting to take more control over its potentially market-moving numbers. Critics have pointed out that anything can be hacked.
