Cogent PR gets Grosvenor Casinos deal
Grosvenor Casinos has appointed Cogent PR to a brief for sites in Birmingham and Coventry. Cogent is tasked with driving admissions and new registrations and positioning Grosvenor as a venue of choice for local businesses. The initial six-month brief was won by Cogent following a five way-pitch via the PRCA's FAPRA service.
Launch PR gets a shot with Caffe Nero
Brand PR agency Launch PR has been hired to help raise awareness of Caffe Nero Group's new food range in the UK. The chain is lauching a range of Italian-inspired hot food at lunchtimes. The Launch PR team on the two-month project will be led by director Niki Wheeler. There was no competitive pitch. Launch was appointed following a recommendation.

Societe Generale extends brief with Lansons
Societe Generale (SG), the French multinational banking and financial services company, has extended its brief with Lansons, with the agency now handling PR for its Corporate and Investment Banking arm. Lansons won the brief after a competitive pitch. The agency already handles PR for three other SG divisions: SG Securities Services, SG Global Transaction Banking and SGPB Hambros.
MWW PR to work with content marketers
Archant Dialogue, the content marketing agency, has hired MWW PR to raise its profile within the media and advertising community. MWW was appointed through its work Archant Media, the parent company of Archant Dialogue, and will develop a campaign to engage with individuals in the UK business, advertising and media community.
Tin Man to launch new hair range
Tin Man has been appointed following a competitive pitch to launch new haircare range MR. Jamie Stevens, which goes on sale in 350 Boots stores nationwide from 19 October. Stevens himself is a celebrity hairdresser, whose new products are aimed at men aged 22-45.
