Edelman has hired reputation management specialist Amit Narayan as lead in the firm’s Gurgaon office in India. He will begin in his new role in November.
The newly-created position will see Narayan handle reputation management programmes for Edelman clients across all sectors. He joins from Vodafone in Singapore, where he led the brand’s external communications for Asia-Pacific.
Narayan has 16 years’ experience working in APAC communications, which includes in-house roles at The Walt Disney Company in Hong Kong and Cable & Wireless in Singapore.

"He will play an integral role in our move towards making brand and reputation management the two key focus areas of our growth."
Narayan has also spent time earlier in his career working for global PR firms, focusing on B2B and B2C clients in India and APAC.
