UK-based PR firm Technical Publicity has announced it is moving into Asia with a Singapore office to be opened in January next year.
Specialising in PR services for the B2B technology markets, Technical Publicity says the new office will be a regional platform for the agency in line with its plans for global growth.
The Singapore group will be led by director Ian Clay, who has 10 years’ experience in the PR industry. Before this, he worked for a decade in journalism for newspapers, consumer magazines and trade publications.
"Over the last 30 years we have built a successful public relations agency focused on supporting clients in the B2B technology sector," Clay said. "Asia is an important market for the majority of our clients but there is still difficulty in integrating regional programmes in Asia into those that are running in EMEA and the USA.
"By establishing Technical Publicity in Singapore we hope to offer our customers an easy and cost-effective way of making their centralised programmes run even more smoothly."
Technical Publicity, a subsidiary of Technical Associates Group, focuses on clients in the electronics, construction, health and safety and industrial markets. Among its client base are Honeywell, Atlas Copco, Eaton, TDK-Lambda and Chicago Pnematic.
The firm has offices in the UK and Germany, and partnerships in the US, China and Turkey.
