Jen Nedeau is director of strategic comms at Bully Pulpit Interactive, an agency that has worked for President Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and Livestrong Foundation. Nedeau helps drive marketing for the agency, cultivate new clients, lead business operations, and expand the footprint of its New York and Washington, DC, offices. Now based in DC, before joining Bully Pulpit in 2012 she was at Time Inc., where she worked on digital strategy and PR for Time, Fortune, CNNMoney, and Money. She also helped manage events such as the Time 100, Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit, and SXSW.
Nedeau is also entrepreneurially minded. On the side, she operates her own comms consulting firm, Nedeau Strategies, for venture capital firms, new companies, startups, and non-profits. She started out as a political journalist, and previously combined her passion for writing and social activism by editing the Women’s Rights blog for Change.org.
