Maura McGreevy works in corporate communications at IMG, which became an industry behemoth in the sports, media, entertainment, and fashion industry following its purchase in 2014 by WME. The merger gave the combined company a client base that includes Hollywood heavyweights Oprah Winfrey and Matt Damon and athletes such as tennis star Maria Sharapova and NFL quarterback Cam Newton. McGreevy moved over to WME from creative agency Droga5, several months after the former bought a minority stake Droga5 in 2013. At Droga5, she was the youngest member of its inaugural board.
McGreevy’s career initially took off when she joined Thomson Reuters in 2008, where she was quickly promoted through the ranks, ending up as head of the office of the CMO. During her time at Thomson Reuters, she was singled out as a high-potential employee (awarded to the company’s top 5%) three years in a row.
