Hills Balfour wins account to launch Evaneos Travel
Evaneos Travel, the online holiday and travel firm founded in France in 2009, has appointed Hills Balfour to co-ordinate its PR activity, including its launch in the UK market. The initial one-year contract was awarded following a competitive pitch. Amy Scott, the account director heading the Evaneos team, said the new client was "a revolutionary travel platform which adheres to the needs of UK travellers in 2015".
H+K promotes Jessica Walsh to MD of Healthcare
Hill+Knowlton Strategies has promoted Jessica Walsh to managing director of its healthcare practice, following the departure of Sue Cook, who has returned to her native Australia. Walsh originally joined H+K’s New York office, but has been a director at the London office since 2008. Walsh's promotion follows five other hires to the healthcare team.
Clarion picks up breakfast brand MOMA
Clarion Communications has won a three-way pitch to become the sole PR agency for breakfast food brand MOMA Foods. On a retained brief, Clarion will increase consumer awareness of the company’s on-the-go offerings including porridges, Bircher Muesli and Oatie Shakes. The previous incumbent was Taste PR.
Rooster to promote Irish spirits collection
Protégé International, a sales and marketing company representing drinks brands, has appointed Rooster to manage trade and consumer PR for The Wild Geese collection of Irish spirits, following a competitive pitch. The agency will create campaigns that reflect the brand's Irish heritage. The account was previously held by Manifest.
Firefly hires Tony Brown as head of content
Firefly Communications has hired former journalist Tony Brown in the new role of head of content. Brown is a former journalist and has worked for William Reed and the Press Association. Over the past five years, he has worked as a freelance at agencies incuding Edelman, Hill+Knowlton Strategies, Babel, 3 Monkeys and Atomic.
