Fearless and passionate are just a few adjectives colleagues use to describe Callan Green, the newly minted director of social media at L’Oréal, which has a robust presence including on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. At the global cosmetics company she’ll no doubt leverage her experience gained most recently as director of digital strategy for 7th & Wit, J Public Relations’ digital agency specializing in luxury, lifestyle, beauty, and hospitality.
Green’s contributions included optimizing content and editorial voice, managing all client and agency budgets to ensure ROI for clients and agency profitability, and hiring and managing a digital team, while developing relationships with new influencers across travel, beauty, and lifestyle. Green has been client-side before, as senior social media specialist for Sony Electronics for three years, where she focused on developing integrated communications plans for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and store openings. She also developed Sony’s multi-tier influencer programs and managed million-dollar budgets.
