After an article in the investment publication Barron’s suggested that Alibaba’s share price could drop an additional 50%, the company struck back hard.
Alibaba communications leader and SVP of international corporate affairs Jim Wilkinson wrote a 1,900-word letter to the editor. He didn’t hold back.
"Your September 12 article with the sensational headline ‘Alibaba: Why it could fall 50% further’ lacks three key ingredients – integrity, professionalism, and fair play," Wilkinson wrote.
