BOSTON: Eric Mower + Associates is combining operations with HB Agency, a Boston-based integrated marketing and PR firm, effective October 1. HB president and creative director Kevin Hart, who co-founded the firm in 1999, will continue to lead its Boston office and join EMA as a partner.

NEW YORK: The Associated Press has launched a division to help brands promote their content and services. The AP Content Services group will offer content-creation and delivery services with the goal of boosting brand awareness and enhancing engagement, it said in a statement.

NEW YORK: Ruder Finn has brought on Sarah Anderson as EVP and head of its US consumer practice. Prior, she ran her own agency and consulted for firms such as Edelman, Weber Shandwick, and Golin.

MADRID: Llorente & Cuenca has bought 60% of Cink, a Spain-based digital consultancy. Cink offers innovation services and assistance to organizations in a digital transformation process, according to a statement from Llorente & Cuenca.

NEW YORK: Zeno Group has named John Kerr as its first chief digital officer. He is taking on the newly created role in addition to his leadership of the firm’s Asia-Pacific network. Kerr continues to report to Zeno CEO Barby Siegel.

NORTHAMPTON, MA: 3BL Media has acquired ReportAlert, a corporate responsibility and sustainability report announcement and dissemination service. It is the third acquisition by 3BL in the past year. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

NEW YORK: Global Strategy Group has hired Glen Caplin as an SVP, based in its New York office. He previously was senior communications director for Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), managing her communications department and social media strategy.

NEW YORK: Ogilvy Public Relations has named Krry Sette as EVP and research director of its research group. She was most recently SVP and director of consumer insights with Hill Holliday/Erwin Penland and previously worked as the global research manager for Behavioral Insights LLC.

WASHINGTON: Bully Pulpit Interactive has brought on Ann Marie Habershaw as COO. She previously served as chief of staff and director of external affairs for the Office of Personnel Management and COO of Obama for America.
