TTM win broader role for Texas Tourism

Travel Tourism and Marketing has been appointed as its full-service the sales, marketing and PR agency for Texas' tourist board. TTM won the new deal having previously handled PR for Texas Tourism for four years. The account will be overseen by TTM directors Jody Hanson and Kirsty Dillury.

Forster Communications gets Maitland's Barrow

Martin Barrow has joined Forster Communications from Maitland as head of its reputation practice. Ex-Maitland partner Barrow previously worked for The Times as a journalist for 25 years. The firm has also taken on Carrie Green from Kindred as a senior consultant in its campaigns practice.

Another change in Asia for FleishmanHillard

As PRWeek Asia reports, FleishmanHillard has appointed Magdalene Lee as general manager of its Malaysia office. She joins from ARC Worldwide, a division of Leo Burnett. This comes just a week after the firm also hired a new general manager in neighbouring Singapore.

H+K appoints de Buck as senior advisor in Brussels

Philippe de Buck, the former director-general of defunct pan-European industry body BUSINESSEUROPE, has been appointed as a senior executive advisor in the Brussels team of Hill+Knowlton Strategies. He will provide strategic counsel to H+K’s clients, in particular on how enhancing their contribution to EU policy development.

Madrid's Llorente & Cuenca takes majority status in Cink

PR comms and public affairs group Llorente & Cuenca, which operates across Spain, Portugal and Latin America, has acquired a 60 per cent stake in Spanish digital innovation consultancy firm Cink. L&C, which had income of €24.4m (£17.7m) in 2014, recently sold a 22 per cent stake in its business to French private equity firm MBO Partenaires, in order to fund acquisitions.

Sutton appoints Southbank Centre press lead

Arts sector PR agency Sutton has appointed Trish O'Connor as the MD of its London office, taking up the role 28 September. She was previously head of press at London's Soutbank Centre. Former London MD Nadine Thompson has now gone freelance and will work as a consultant to the firm.

Calacus wins account

Calacus has been retained to provide media relations, consultancy and social media support for online blood testing and health checks business The account was won following a recommendation made to the company.

Richmond Towers scoops chia seed supplier

Richmond Towers has been retained as the UK consumer and trade PR agency of Ireland-based Chia Bia, one of Europe's leading suppliers of chia seeds. The agency was asked to pitch to the business on the back of a referral.
