Ex- Bloomberg TV anchor John Dawson takes on Artemis director role

Appointment follows the expansion of retained client base, according to company CEO

Artemis Associates has appointed former Bloomberg TV Anchor John Dawson as a director in Hong Kong.

Dawson joins Artemis after a 20 year career at Bloomberg Television, where he was the prime-time anchor in Europe and Asia, interviewing world leaders in industry and politics.

He is also an experienced conference moderator/speaker, having chaired numerous panels at conferences across Asia and Europe, including the World Economic Forum in Davos and the  EU, IMF and OPEC meetings.

His interviews with General Electric’s Jack Welch and BP’s Lord Browne won him Bloomberg’s sole nominations for the U.K. Business Journalist of the Year award.  As a writer, his work featured regularly on the Bloomberg newswire and in publications around the world, including the IHT, Financial Times and Business Week.

He graduated from the University of London with a Bachelor’s Degree in English & Classics. He moved to Hong Kong from London in October 2010.
