Hozelock appoints The Ideas Network on year-long contract
Gardening products maker Hozelock has given a one-year contract to the agency The Ideas Network to promote key product launches for 2016, and manage all its UK press office activity. The Ideas Network won the deal after a three-way pitch that also included incumbent agency Cogent Elliott. The agency’s director Jessica Proudfoot said she planned to "reach new audiences and shake up the gardening category".
Street food firm Magicgoal appoints The Cult PR
The Cult PR has been appointed to promote the launch of street food company Magicgoal’s new brand Prime Burger at two London sites and existing brands at several other locations in the capital. The six-month contract was awarded following a two-way pitch, and includes raising the profiles of Magicgoal’s directors. Magicgoal previously handled its PR in-house.
Bottle appoints Liz Beswick as editor
Liz Beswick has joined Bottle PR as an editor in the agency’s consumer team. She previously worked for charity the Teenage Cancer Trust as a PR and comms manager and before this for agency iris worldwide, during which time she was shortlisted for Young PR Professional of the Year at the PRWeek Awards 2013.
Phillips & Wood appoints Cultural-Agenda
West London-based bespoke lighting company Phillips & Wood has appointed the agency Cultural-Agenda on a retained basis to run its comms with immediate effect. Two other agencies pitched for the new account.
