Did you understand Google's Alphabet reorganization?

Google pulled out all the stops to announce its reorganization on Monday evening. But are you still confused?

Google used a letter from CEO Larry Page, social media, and the quirky abc.xyz URL to announce its reorganization on Monday.

It goes something like this: Alphabet is the new parent company containing Google, which itself will include YouTube and other divisions, as well as various other interests, such as those in healthcare and drones. Alphabet will replace Google as the publicly traded entity.

"Our company is operating well today, but we think we can make it cleaner and more accountable," Page said in the statement.
