Johnson has spent the past 10 years at The Communication Group, serving as managing director and chair of the management board. Before this she worked at Fishburn Hedges and Weber Shandwick.
Her specialisms lie in corporate comms, inward investment and destination marketing. She has led campaigns to drive trade and tourism for a number of destinations including Dubai, Edinburgh and Liverpool. In London she has led campaigns for Nine Elms on the South Bank, Canary Wharf and the former London 2012 Athletes’ Village. Other client experience includes De Beers, Jumeirah and Ballymore Group.

Her arrival follows the recent appointment of the BBC’s former head of strategic delivery, Kerensa Jennings.
