Barran has previously worked at Ogilvy, Hill+Knowlton Strategies and Bellenden, and has worked on campaigning, crisis, integrated comms and CSR briefs for companies including EE, Unilever and Dow.
Grindle has worked at Cake for four years. M&C Saatchi said his main focus will be developing and delivering consumer-oriented PR campaigns for many of the agency’s clients, including EE, AXA and Universal Pictures. At Cake, Grindle worked on a range of global and UK campaigns for brands including P&G, Coca-Cola, Sony, BSkyB and Virgin Atlantic.
Both Barran and Grindle will report to UK MD Chris Hides, who said: "We have experienced an absolutely phenomenal period of growth over the past 12 months and are lucky to have two great consultants join us as we look to continue this momentum into 2016."
