Howard has a remit to provide senior client counsel, accelerate organic growth and develop new business. She will also be responsible for overseeing the agency’s talent recruitment and retention strategy.
Louise Lloyd, Popcorn’s founder, said Howard had been instrumental to the success of the agency to date: "Together we have an ambitious plan for the next 24 months, which will see us take a breath and focus on strengthening our offering across multiple platforms and territories."
Howard previously held roles at high-profile agencies including Publicasity, Ketchum, Hill+Knowlton Strategies and Lexis, working with clients including P&G, Phillips and United Biscuits.
The Buckinghamshire-based agency scooped the Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy and Outstanding Small Public Relations Consultancy prizes at the CIPR Excellence Awards in June.
In January 2015, Paul Sutton joined as head of digital and social having left Bottle PR, where he created campaigns for brands including Golden Wonder, The History Channel and AXA.
