Wynne-Jones, who was deputy news editor at The Independent and assistant news editor at the Mail Online during a decade working for national papers, joins the agency today (3 August) as a senior media adviser.
He has also recently worked on reputation and crisis issues for Portland, and contributed to writing the Conservative Party's general election manifesto.
George Godsal, MD and chair of the corporate and brand practice, said Wynne-Jones brought "formidable news instincts and an understanding of clients’ reputational concerns" to the team.
Wynne-Jones said: "Issues of trust and integrity are always vital to corporate success, but particularly so in the current climate, and I look forward to bringing my journalistic perspective to enhance our clients' success and reputation."
