Publicasity promotes Paul McCaffrey to director and recruits account directors

Publicasity has promoted Paul McCaffrey to director and hired two new associate directors; Barbara Normile from Clarion Communications and Lucy Richardson from Richmond Towers.

After four years working in the firm’s consumer division and running campaigns for Heinz, Coca-Cola and Sony Ericsson, McCaffrey takes the role of director to lead the firm’s international offer.
Normile leaves behind her role as senior account director at Clarion, where her consumer work for Warburtons contributed to the firm’s Cannes Lions award in 2013.
Richardson, who previously specialised in the drinks industry, joins after two years as associate director at Richmond Towers.
Zoe Ward-Waring, managing director at Publicasity, said: "It’s been a really exciting time for the agency since our acquisition by Porta at the end of last year, and ensuring we have the right senior people in the business is more important than ever."

The firm has recently picked up contracts to work with the tourism boards of Turkey and St Lucia. Last year the firm was bought for £2.8m by Porta Communications.
