Fiat Chrysler Group looks to combine Jeep and Alfa Romeo under single PR agency

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), the global group that owns car brands Jeep and Alfa Romeo, is considering aligning the two brands and appointing a single UK PR agency, PRWeek has learned.

Currently there are separate agencies for the two brands, with McCann managing PR for Jeep and Performance Communications for Alfa Romeo.

The idea to appoint a single agency follows an internal restructure to bring the car brands together under recently appointed head of brand, Damien Dally. Comms manager for Jeep, Nikki Austen, is also part of the process.

A spokesperson for FCA said: "We would like to have one agency to do both and are considering some options; it's still early stages."

FCA added that McCann and Performance Communications would be involved in any changes.
